WinToHDD - Install any version of Windows with total ease.

If you need to format your PC, but don't have any pen drive or installation disk at hand, WinToHDD is the solution. WinToHDD brings together a series of functionalities with which you can install, reinstall, or clone any version of Windows, from Windows Vista to Windows 11, without the need to use a USB or CD drive.

Its features are very similar to those offered by some of its rivals, such as Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool and WinUSB Maker, although with several differences. Do you want to know them? We'll tell you below.

Versions for all tastes and needs

WinToHDD is capable of carrying out the installation or reinstallation of Windows using a second hard drive. By carrying out this process through ESD, ISO or WIM files, it allows you to install Windows without the need for USB, DVD or CD. In addition, WinToHDD also allows you to clone the operating system without having to install it or download any other application.

Depending on your needs, WinToHDD has three versions: "Free", "Professional" and "Enterprise". The "Free" version is free, as its name suggests. The Professional version offers features such as faster cloning time and free lifetime updates. In the Enterprise version, the user can use all available functions, including support for Windows Server operating systems.

Compatible with basically any current version of Windows

WinToHDD requires a PC with Windows Vista 2008 or higher (32-bit or 64-bit), so if your PC is minimally updated, you can use it without any problem. In addition, you will need to have a 1 GHz or higher CPU, 1 GB of RAM, and 1024 MB of free storage space.

If English is not your thing, don't worry, as WinToHDD has Spanish translation, so you can follow the process without getting lost along the way.

A very versatile program

Windows is the most widely used operating system worldwide due to the many possibilities it offers. WinToHDD allows you to install a new version of your favorite operating system without the need for any external device.

In addition, the ability to clone the Windows installation to another disk without resorting to a Live operating system makes this program a "must-have" for PC users.

  • Pros

    • Possibility to create a multi-installation unit
    • It is fully compatible with GPT/UEFI.
    • It allows cloning a Windows installation.
    • Capable of installing and reinstalling Windows on the drives you want.
  • Cons

    • It does not allow creating partitions.
    • The use of it requires technical knowledge on the part of the user.
    • The interface has few graphic features.

Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
